I’m very pleased that I lost another 3.2 pounds in the second week of Operation 22!!

A total of 9.6 pounds in just 2 weeks. And all that with no fancy diet. Just lean protein, fruits and vegetables and lots of exercise.

I was a little nervous before weigh in this week because I had been snacking a bit too much this week. But, the snacking was never on processed foods. I snacked on raw almonds and pure peanut butter (no additives or partially dehydrogenated vegetble oils.) I was also eating pure honey, and though it’s high calorie, it was all natural with no fat.

It was really about all the exercise I did. I walked the dog 2 miles everyday and went to the gym 4 times.

Week three begins now – my goal will be to go under 200 pounds this week. Looks like I’ll be headed to the gym tonight.

Week 1 Results

I lost 6.4 pounds!! And I did it despite 2 bad nights. One night I went a bit overboard eating my favorite combination of peanut butter and honey. And the second night was Halloween, and well, you know what happened there.

But I still managed to loose 6.4 pounds!!

I did it by eliminating processed foods, sugar, flour, pasta, bread, etc.

I took the dog on a walk 6 out 7 days and I went to the gym 3 times. Not bad. That was easy.

Let the second full week begin!!

A promise is a promise!!

I promised my wife that I would lose 22 pounds….and keep it off.

So, I decided to create this blog to keep track of my weight.

Time to weigh in…….drum roll please:

Yikes!! 212.6 pounds!! Too much bad food and too little exercise.

So lets begin. The premise will be simple. Eat healthy foods (no processed white foods like sugar, bread and pasta) and get plenty of exercise. That should do the trick.
